I've been bad!

  1. Don't post ANYTHING for at least 1 1/2 months!
  2. Spend most of your "free" time reading everyone else's blogs!
  3. Use a really old & slow computer!
  4. Take low quality pictures!
  5. Get distracted easily!
  6. Become kind of totally addicted to Facebook games!
  7. Make up excuses why you can't post...then go play Facebook games!
  8. Tell yourself you'll post something later...& NEVER do!
  9. Live in your PJ's & never leave the house...you'll have nothing interesting to talk about! (I KNOW!)
  10. If all else fails...just repeat step 1!
...So, if anyone would like to send a "worst blogger award" my way...feel free to do so. LOL

*Note to self:
Dear self,
Please try to post something on your blog at leeeeeeeast once a week!
Mmmmkay?
Thanks!

Decoupage Jewelery Box

This started out as a thrift store jewelery box that was sloppily painted orange, yellow, & purple. I gave it a couple coats of spray paint & used various stickers, scrapbook paper, & glitter to give it more of a "girlish" look.
It was given to my daughter who will soon be passing it down to my granddaughter!

Sewing Machine Cozy

After noticing that my sewing machine was getting a little dusty & knowing this is not good for her...I decided to make her a cover.

I used upholstery weight fabric that I already had in my stash, & this tutorial.
I did do a couple things differently from the tutorial. I added some medium weight interfacing to the top, & also made the top 6" instead of 4".
"PEEK-A-BOO"...lol!
I think she likes funky paisley patterns as much as I do!!
