This lamp used to be a Bankers Lamp...you know the ones that are brass with a green glass shade...YUK! (no offense to anyone that likes them)
I really didn't like the the glow that the green glass shade gave off when the light was on, & I'm not too big on shiny brass either.
Soooooo...I spray painted the brass purple, & used spray adhesive on a fabric scrap from my stash to cover the green glass.
I love the way it turned out, especially when it's dark & the light is on...the tiny stars seem to glow.
